At Gin Ridge Outfitters we conduct all of our hunts on privately family owned farms & a few leased farms  to ensure plenty of stands for different winds. Each property has preset stands placed in prime locations that are proven to produce big trophy class Pope & Young and Boone & Crockett whitetail bucks. 

Over the last two years we have spent  100s of hours scouting, running cameras, mapping, shed hunting, putting in a variety of food plots, and establishing stand sites so that when you arrive you have a great chance at a successful hunt. We keep our hunters informed throughout the year as to sheds found, pictures of deer and food plots. Over the last two years we have been putting in a variety of food plots, running We have had very little hunting pressure. 

This is Gin Ridge Outfitters first year and we have very high expectations.  Three bucks have been taken off all of the properties in the last two seasons. We have locations in very good areas and have a large number of trophy class whitetails. All of our hunts are conducted on whitetails that are 100% wild and free roaming deer with 100% Wild & 100% Fair chase methods. 

We encourage our hunters to harvest mature whitetail bucks. We do impose 140 inch minimum with a $250 fee if that is not met. The reason for this is when you book a hunt with Gin Ridge Outfitters, we want everyone to have a chance at a trophy this year and in years to come. 

We understand big deer are not in all states, people get excited, and the deer don’t stop and let you measure them.  We won’t be meeting you at the stand with a measuring tape just to pull a few extra dollars out of your wallet. What we don’t want is folks shooting a buck the last day just to take something home they are not happy with. 

We will assist you in preparing before you get here acquiring permits, selecting the correct gear, and getting set up with a place to stay. We currently do not have lodging but have a few places close that you can book. 

Our prices are lower than most to help cover that cost. Our goal is to make Gin Ridge a place you come back yearly for a good time and a great hunt. Check us out for your next hunt .
